Tithing

Tithing is a practice where an individual chooses to give money to the church. Oftentimes people will pledge a certain amount for the year in order for the church to prepare an appropriate budget. Traditionally, 10% of one’s income is used for tithing. This does not mean you have to give 10% in order to tithe, instead, tithing is a practice where you can give what you feel you are able to give. Tithing is a prayerful process, and while it is never required to give money the reality is our church has costs that need to be met in order to sustain the ministry we are doing.

ACH Information/Forms

Are you tired of having to fill an envelope every Sunday?  Did you know that Resurrection Lutheran church now has convenient giving options that make it so you never have to fill out one of those envelope cards again? Included in these options: EFT (Electronic funds transfer set up through the bank account and routing number), and PO box that can be used at any time to mail in your check. The PO Box number is 1131 at the Pierre post office.
